Hello moms, I am planning a family vacation for April 2020 and was wondering if there is a PDF I can download of the Guide to Plant Base Dining in Disney World. I'm traveling with 2 vegans and want to make dinner reservations before we arrive. Susan

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan Charlotte!

My husband is a vegetarian who eats a lot of vegan food, and I was so thrilled to see the recent Disney Parks Blog announcement that over 400 plant-based meals are now available at Quick-Service and Table-Service restaurants across the Walt Disney World Resort. We have been having so much fun drooling over the options and deciding what to try first on our upcoming visit!

The Disney Parks Blog article provides some great highlights, and there are more in-depth details available on the Plant-Based Cuisine Options at Walt Disney World Resort web page. The page is a fantastic resource that breaks down dining options by theme park, water park, Disney Springs, and resort hotel locations. There is also a brochure that has been seen around the parks. I checked with a Cast Member, who told me that, at this time, there is not a pdf version of the Guide available.

Susan Charlotte, I see you’re visiting in the spring, so I’m hoping a pdf is released sometime soon.
Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information, and please come back and ask us again as your visit approaches, because we may have more information by then. Additionally, I have seen photos of the brochure on various Disney blogs and websites, so you may want to do an internet search to see what you can find, but keep in mind that non-Disney sites are not official information, and that menu items are always subject to change. I like Disney Food Blog and Vegan Disney World for dining information; in particular, Vegan Disney World shares great reviews and tips for modifying menu items on their social media channels.

My fellow Panelists have some recommendations to share, so if you search the Disney Parks Moms Panel for “vegan,” you can hear about all our favorites. Brandy recently shared her top picks, and Amy M. is a great resource for vegetarian and vegan dining too. My favorite vegan treat is the iconic Dole Whip, but there are so many great choices these days, so your friends should be in foodie bliss!

Have so much fun planning your springtime visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Susan Charlotte! Please come back and see us if we can help as you do your Disney dreaming.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
