Hi, I am planning a family vacation. We have 6 adults and 5 kids.one family has 3 kids. Another one has 2. Can someone tell me how much it would cost for us to go on a Disney cruise?

    Greetings, Richard!

I don’t think you could go wrong with vacationing on a Disney Cruise Line cruise. With eight ships to choose from (and growing!) and many different experiences offered, you may end up like my family, returning again and again to sail the high seas with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey.

With all of the available experiences to choose from as well as various other variables to consider, I can’t enumerate all of the possible prices of a Disney Cruise Line vacation for your party. However, it is very easy to find out how much a cruise for your group might be by using the ”Find a Cruise” tool on the Disney Cruise Line website or by contacting Disney Cruise Line by phone. I’d also like to offer a few points to consider to help get started in choosing the cruise that is right for you.

Many variables affect the total cost of a cruise vacation: length of cruise, embarkation port, season of the year for a cruise, whether the cruise is one-way or round trip, port itinerary, number of passengers in your group, number of staterooms for those passengers, category of staterooms, and a number of other items. The easiest way to get started is to determine which of those factors matters the most to you. Then, price out a few cruises that match those criteria and proceed to choose what works best for you.

The number of passengers in your group is usually the easy starting point, of course. After that, many Guests like to consider things like destinations of a cruise, departure port, or time of year when everyone in their party can be available to cruise as their top planning priority. Selecting either stateroom categories or specific staterooms is often what comes next.

Tony’s Tip: Stateroom categories that accommodate up to four Guests tend to be more budget-friendly. If there is a family with five or more members in your group who would not mind splitting up to have one or a few members of their party join another family in your group to share their stateroom, it can help keep the total cost of your cruise vacation lower.

You’re closer to making magical memories together with your group, Richard. Should you need any more planning ideas and support, feel free to visit us again here at planDisney.

    Have a great cruise,
    ~Tony
