We are planning a family trip to WDW on November 16 and I was wondering if this is a good time to go? Also, when is the best time to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's is? Thank you.

November 16 until November 21 will have average crowds. It should be a nice touring week before the Thanksgiving visitors arrive. Starting Saturday November 22, the holiday guests will begin arriving creating high crowd levels until the end of November.

There are 2 times that I would consider the “best” to enjoy breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. This would be the first or last seating.

The advantage of the first seating is that you should be out of Chef Mickey’s in time for the Magic Kingdom’s opening ceremony. Since morning touring time is highly recommended, I don’t suggest using valuable time at a breakfast when you could be in a park with little or no waits at attractions.

The last seating would allow you to go and enjoy a park, make a brunch out of your meal (have a granola bar in the morning and skip lunch) and have great character interaction. The characters are attentive, the buffet still well stocked and kept fresh. You save money on not having to have lunch!
