We are planning our 1st family trip to WDW! Our group is 2 grandparents, 2 parents, & 2 preschool kids. We desire a resort that will be comfortable and exciting for all. Wilderness Lodge has caught my eye, but I would love to hear your suggestions.

As a "Nana" myself, I can assure you that you have made the best decision ever to take the kids and grandkids to the Walt Disney World Resort. You will make magical memories that will last a lifetime.

The good news- in my experience, every resort is comfortable and exciting. The bad news- there isn't any! For your first trip with preschoolers, transportation ease is key. Therefore, along with Disney's Wilderness Lodge which is just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, I would recommend one of the monorail resorts: Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney's Contemporary Resort.  For overall theming, I think Disney's Wilderness Lodge is the winner. But the monorail makes traveling to both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot a breeze.  You can see many photos and videos of the resorts at one of my go-to websites, allearsnet.com.  I suggest you spend some time looking them all over and then choosing the one that suits your family the best.

A final tip: make sure and get Memory Maker, that way, everyone will be in your photos and you can download every image for one price.  If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help.

    See ya real soon!
