We are planning a family trip at WDW. It will be the first time for the kids - ages 5, 4, 3, & 2. We'll have grandparents too (early 70's) . Which WDW resort would be best for us to stay? Looked at Animal Kingdom or Fort Wilderness.

Greetings Stella from a fellow mom of four! Walt Disney World is the place for multiple generations to vacation if you want everyone to have a blast.

The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort might be a little crowded for all eight of you but you could let your youngest two sleep in portable cribs, put your oldest two in the bunk beds in the bedroom with the grandparents, and parents sleep on the pull down in the living room. Big advantages to the cabins include on site parking, a full kitchen, reasonable pricing, and a deck with a grill.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is probably the most unique resort on WDW property. Exotic animals grazing outside your window is hard to beat. Here you could book adjoining rooms or try the villas. This deluxe accommodation has an amazing Uwanja camp water play area, a zero entry pool, a bridge in the lobby, and interesting restaurants. Zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and multiple other safari animals roam the grounds.

You can not make a poor decision; any resort you choose will be a great. If you have additional questions about resorts, navigating the parks with four children, or any aspect of planning your magical vacation pleas contact me. I would love to help you.
