We are planning a family trip Oct.2016 . Our son will not be able to stay the whole entire visit with us . My question is if we included a dinning plan pkg. can we still use his meal plan after he goes home ? example for extra meal for someone else ?

    Hi Lisa!

That's a great question! Assuming your son is in the same room and reservation, then the answer is yes, you can use his unused credits. Dining credits are assigned by room or reservation as a total not to an individual. Therefore you would be able to use all of the credits on your reservation when he departs. When you use the dining plan, be sure to let your server know beforehand. At the end of your meal, they will scan one MagicBand for the total of the dining credits being used for the dining party, which could potentially include the extra meal you asked about.

It's been a real pleasure assisting you Lisa. If you need any recommendations for restaurants, please feel free to send me your questions!

Thanks for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Happy Planning!
