Hello, Sara! I’m a big fan of using a stroller at Disney’s 4 Theme Parks as well as Disney Springs. It’s a great place for kids to rest while we dash towards Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or to capture all our waters while we spin round on Hatter’s Teacups.
Our family always finds a backpack to be paramount, holding our diapering supplies, a hoodie, snacks and of course, a refillable water bottle. Whether we are renting a double stroller from the
Stroller Rental area or patronizing Kingdom Strollers, a Disney-recommended third party rental company, our backpack is safely stowed. The Disney World Resort strollers have two mesh cup holders as well as a small storage pocket on the back (the double strollers have two); For extra storage options, I like bringing my Mommy Hook from home and hanging bags from that. I just need to be careful that I don’t overload it and tip the stroller backwards when there’s no kiddos in it!
I’ve even seen some other parents attach a small over the door shoe pocket item to hold items for quick access. Be sure to bring your own ribbons to attach it and a bag to hold it on the bus ride back; it can be more cumbersome during travel if you don’t plan! If you didn’t know already, renting a stroller for the duration of your stay rather than single days at a time can save money. Simply mention this to your Stroller Rental Cast Member and they will assist you.
If you’re needing more storage than the Disney Rental Strollers offer, renting from Kingdom Strollers is a great option. They even deliver right to your resort for the date of your arrival. I hope that your five littles have a comfy place to swap out rides and have a magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
