Planning our family of 4 trip next year. My 4 year old daughter and I both love elephants. Are there any encounters either one (or both) of us good experience? Thank you.

    Hi Suzann!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort! If you love elephants, you will want to be sure to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. To see elephants and the other animals in the Harambe Wildlife Reserve, your entire family can take a trip on Kilimanjaro Safaris! Here you will enjoy all of the beautiful animals, including the African Elephants. I highly recommend enjoying this attraction both during the day and after sunset as the new nighttime version of this ride is a wonderful opportunity to experience both the sights and sounds of the animals at night, when they are often more active!

If you would like to get to take a closer look at the animals, I highly recommend Wild Africa Trek. This is an amazing opportunity to spend more time in Harambe Wildlife Reserve, both on foot and in an open-air truck, as you learn even more about the wildlife on the Reserve. This experience is available for Guests 8 years old and over, so it is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain some additional knowledge about the reserve and the Disney Animals that you can pass along to the rest of your family!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
