We are planning a family trip in June of 2012 staying at the new Art of Animation Resort :) Our daughter who will be 5 when we travel loves Rapunzel. Are there any character greetings with her or any character dinning venues? Thanks

Hi Allyson!  How exciting that you are staying at the newest Walt Disney World Resort!  From all I've read and seen, it looks like it will be amazing!

I am happy to report that, as of this time, there is a "play and greet" with the characters, Repunzel, Flynn Ryder, and Pascal at the Magic Kingdom.  It can be found in the former location of Storytime with Belle, which is at the side of the castle, close to the Mad Tea Party attraction (spinning tea cups ride).

It's called a "play and greet" because it is actually an interactive experience that occurs several times throughout the day in this location.

You and your children will enter the attraction, the children will be given some fun things to do, such as coloring and coloring sheet of the "Tangled" characters with a box of "Tangled" crayons given to them, and then the characters make their entrance.  They perform a little dance, dance with the children, and then everyone lines up to take their turns having their pictures made with the characters.

It's a great experience, and gives the children a little more time and interaction with their favorite characters.

I recommend you pick up the daily "Times Guide and News Information" brochure as soon as you enter the park, along with your Magic Kingdom Park Map.  This will let you know what times the attraction will be held on the particular day you are in the park.  You will want to arrive early enough to make sure you get in line.  The number allowed into the attraction is limited each time.  Remember, Disney does change events and attractions from time to time, so you should check to see if this particular attraction is still available just before your trip.

I hope you have a wonderful WDW vacation, and that your daughter gets to share some magical memories with Repunzel!
