Hello! We’re planning a family trip for June of 2026. Am I able to purchase tickets this far in advance?

Welcome to planDisney, Zachary! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question for you today. Admission is one of the most important aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation, so let's jump right in and chat about tickets and when you can get them!

I'm pleased to tell you that 2026 tickets are now on sale, so you're free to purchase them whenever you're ready. If locking things in early helps you feel organized, go for it! If you'd rather wait a bit while you firm up dates or other plans, that works too. Tickets are not in danger of selling out, so time is on your side here.

It's also worth thinking about where you'll be staying. If you already know your hotel plans, or you're leaning toward a Disney Resort Hotel, you might prefer to book a vacation package that bundles your resort stay and theme park tickets together. The big advantage of a package is the payment structure: you can secure the whole trip with a small deposit at the time of booking, and then you have until 30 days before your check-in day to pay the remaining balance. That way, you lock in your resort and tickets without paying the full amount up front.

If you decide you just want to purchase tickets on their own, that's perfectly fine! Just keep in mind that standalone tickets are paid in full at checkout. You can choose the dates and number of days that fit your plans and add options like Park Hopper if that matches your vacation style. Some people like to buy tickets first, then choose a hotel afterward, while others prefer the package building route because of the deposit and the convenience of bundling. Both approaches are perfectly acceptable ways to build your vacation, so pick whichever feels better for your budget and planning style.

I hope this answers your question, Zachary, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
