We are planning a family trip to Fort Wilderness and the Magic Kingdom (one day). How do I have the tickets mail to my home?

    Hello James!

Welcome to planDisney! Starting 2025 with a trip to Walt Disney World Resort sounds amazing! I recently enjoyed a stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and I loved how the Resort felt like a peaceful escape! The grills at the cabins are great for making a lovely dinner of burgers and sliced pineapples. A delicious meal and a cost-savings!

If you are enjoying one Park day then choosing Magic Kingdom Park is a great idea as there is a boat that brings you right over from this Resort. The dock area has golf cart parking and a gift shop nearby. I highly recommend you get a golf cart as this is one of the largest Resorts I have ever been in and walking will take far too long.

If you booked your trip online there is an option to have it mailed to you for free using U.S. Domestic Standard shipping via the U.S. Postal Service. To get it mailed just select "See more delivery options." which is right under the Mobile ticket options.  More options will pop up that include some express options that can get it to you sooner but do come with a cost. Right now, if were to order a ticket today I would not get it until after January 2, 2025, so there is at least a week and a half of waiting time for delivery. I would make sure you secure those tickets asap or pay for the express options so you get them in time.

Another option which is what I primarily choose is the Mobile delivery option. The ticket is automatically linked to my account and I can have it on my smartphone and just use that to tap into the Park. I don't have to worry about the mail or losing a card. The whole process is called the Disney MagicMobile Service. The ticket is added to my Digital Wallet on my smartphone and I just hold the phone at the Park entrance touchpoints. You will need the My Disney Experience Mobile App for this service but you will need this app for so many more things. This app has a great feature that lets guests map their way around the Parks, use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, and grab a spot in a Virtual Queue. These days I have gotten pretty into using my MagicBand+ which not only lets me enter the Parks but also my Disney Resort room!

Whatever option you choose, I wish you a magical time!

    Happy Planning!
