Hi Meredith!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, from one Colorado girl to another! Autumn is my favorite time of year at Walt Disney World Resort. You can enjoy cooler temperatures, lower crowd levels, the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Halloween decorations. In the past, Halloween decorations have gone up in time for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Party has traditionally run from mid-September through October. (Last year, the Party got an early start at the beginning of September!) Previously, the dates for the party have been released in May on the
Disney Parks Blog, so you can watch it for the release of this year's dates. With average lows in the 70s and highs in the 90s, September in Orlando should be plenty warm to enjoy a dip in your hotel pool or a trip to one of the resort's Water Parks. So if you plan your trip for the middle or end of September, you should be able to see the Halloween spirit invade Magic Kingdom and enjoy some time in the water too!
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
