Planning a family trip to Disneyland in March. I booked my Blue Bayou reservation as soon as they opened up. Reservation is set, but I did not book through the Fantasmic dining package link. Is there a way to add the package onto my existing reservation?

    Hey Carolyn!

    Welcome to planDisney!

One of my favorite things about visiting the Happiest Place on Earth is all of the amazing dining options! Blue Bayou Restaurant is at the top of the list when it comes to dining and I’m so glad you were able to grab a reservation. As I’m sure you know, it’s one of the harder reservations to get so kudos on your planning skills! You’ll dine in a beautiful and serene setting as you watch guests embarking on a Pirates of the Caribbean adventure. Some of my favorites from their menu include the Chicken Gumbo, Filet Mignon, and Hurricane Cocktail. I’m dying to try the limited-time Disney100 Celebration Cake, it sounds divine!

Fantasmic! is my absolute favorite nighttime spectacular. A dining package is a great way to get a reserved seat for all the action. Unfortunately, you would have needed to book the dining package when you booked your dining reservation at Blue Bayou Restaurant. I would keep checking availability from now until your trip or ask your server the day of your reservation if you can add it on. There are limited seats available for dining packages, but there may be some last-minute cancellations that could work in your favor. Depending on what time your dining reservation is, another option could be to book the Fantasmic! On-the-Go Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant for either lunch or dinner (opposite your Blue Bayou Restaurant reservation). This dining package is much easier to get and allows you to get reserved seating for the show.

Well Carolyn, I hope one of these options works out for you.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
