Hi, Christina!
I am excited to hear you have a family vacation planned during the 2015 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna®. Will anyone in your party be participating in the runDisney events being offered that weekend? I sure hope so!
Disney date nights are the best! My husband and I schedule one every visit. Here are a few of my favorite spots:
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort- Boosting spectacular views and fantastic cuisine, this location is my top pick for a date night. One of my favorite tips is to snag an advanced dining reservation about 60-90 minutes before that evening's showing of the Magic Kingdom's Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. They dim the house lights and pipe-in the soundtrack to this fireworks display.
Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa- Offering fresh, costal dishes and a great view of Seven Seas Lagoon, this restaurant offers the definite feel of date night. Come early and enjoy a beverage at the circular bar, and stay late for an up-front seat of the Electric Water Pageant nighttime water parade.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort- Be kids again as you dine on old soda shop favorites in this nostalgic eatery. Then, grab an ice cream cone, take a stroll on the beach and watch Illuminations: Reflections of Earth from the bridge near Epcot's International Gateway. You can also walk over to the BoardWalk and enjoy the free entertainment offered.
I hope this information is helpful, Christina!
Have a Magical Date!
