Planning our family trip to Disney for my daughter's 6th birthday. We have reservations at Cinderellas castle for breakfast. Just wondering what you suggest for places to go for dinner and how to get a cake for her.

    Hi Stephanie!

Oh what a wonderful celebration you have in store for your little one!

Of course, I would love to continue the princess theme and will suggest Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We took our girls on their first visit when they were almost 6-years old and they adored it! One of our girls was super shy when she met Prince Charming. She later told us that she did not want to make Cinderella jealous - it is absolutely one of our favorite memories from that trip! Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is just a monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom.

If you prefer to dine in Magic Kingdom, you could dine with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at The Crystal Palace. We enjoy the buffet options here and the Pooh-rade is super cute! Be careful with your choice for dining time if you select a time near the Happily Ever After fireworks show. Or enjoy the splendor at Be Our Guest in Beast's Castle. After dinner, the Beast typically receives guests and we have taken some memorable, if awkward (he is quite tall), photos with him. If your 6-year old is in the mood for some mischievous fun, try Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Grumpy was by far our favorite and we did our best to cheer him up! Located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you can take a water taxi from Magic Kingdom to the resort and then make your way to the restaurant. Finally, if you would like to end your day with a warm and delicious family-style meal, make an advanced dining reservation at 'Ohana

Most certainly your little one needs a cake to celebrate! I recommend that you order from Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort. The Mickey Mouse Celebration cake is adorable and may be just enough to feed your group. Check the list of participating restaurants and pre-order your cake for delivery. If you want to add a little extra magic, also consider Disney Floral & Gifts. We ordered balloons for our girls one year and had them delivered to Cinderella's Royal Table. Our girls' reactions were PRICELESS!

Stephanie, we cannot wait to have your little one celebrate. Perfect place and perfect plan!

    Magic and memories,
