Hi Katie,
I am happy to help you think about where to stay for your next Walt Disney World vacation! There is also a great
comparison tool to help you out with this.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is whimsical and fun. If you have small children, this might be a good choice for the larger-than-life characters represented at the resort, as well as the colorful decor and wonderfully themed pools. A family suite here can sleep up to six adult guests, and has a kitchenette. Both Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are part of the Deluxe Villa category of resort, so you will find some similarities in them. In a one-bedroom villa, they both feature a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Both can sleep up to four adult guests. You will also find the one-bedroom villas to be larger in square footage than the family suite.
Because you have four guests, I would choose one of the one-bedroom villas. This is because I love the convenience of a full kitchen on vacation. My family often cooks some meals in our villa, which we find saves us time and money. I also really appreciate the washer and dryer right in the villa. I can pack less and do laundry on vacation, and therefore save money on baggage fees with the airlines! Between the two Deluxe Villa resorts, I think that which you choose is a matter of personal taste as well as where you want to be. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is located very near to Disney Springs, so it is great for dining, shopping and entertainment access. Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge was recently opened and has a lovely rustic flare, and is accessible to Magic Kingdom by boat.
In the end, no matter which resort you choose, I am sure that you will have a magical vacation, Katie! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
