Hi, I am planning my family trip (2adults+a 4 y/o child) we decided for 31October-11November 2017 to enjoy both Halloween and Christmas Parties. I am worried about the crowd and weather. Is that a good time to go or would I get big lines and cold weather?

    Hi Lilian!

Your timing is indeed perfect to come for a Walt Disney World vacation and to enjoy both of their great Magic Kingdom special event parties.  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ends on November 1 and the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins on November 9 this year.

Each party is unique with special parades and fireworks and you will be one of the lucky ones who can enjoy both during your stay.

This time of year will have crowds but no more then most other times. The parks might be more crowded around Halloween as that seems to draw quite a few guests for the festivities. But the first week or so of November is a great time for a visit.

As far as weather is concerned it should be great. It will certainly not be too cold at that time of year and the chance of rain will be slight. Of course none of us know what Mother Nature will drop upon us at any time of year when it comes to weather. Technically November is still hurricane season but they rarely develop that late.

I think you will have a wonderful vacation and will enjoy everything you have planned!
