I am planning a family reunion for about 50-60 of us. Our plan is to visit Epcot and enjoy the World showcase! Is there a way to reserve a lightening lane for Guardians for all of us?

Hello, Daniella! I think a family reunion at The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like a dream! What a great idea! Let's talk about it!

Wow! You have been entrusted with quite the task - not only planning the family reunion, but also leading such a large group! You can do this! The key is knowing what you can do together and when you need to break up into smaller groups. I'm going to be honest with you, Daniella - securing Lightning Lanes for a headliner like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind for a group of 50+ people is going to be a challenge, but I believe in you!

    • The maximum number of guests you can make a Lightning Lane reservation for is 20. Designate at least three individuals to serve as the "leaders" for smaller groups to purchase and reserve the Lightning Lane Single Passes. You can do this at 7 am, 7 days before check-in if you are all Disney Resort hotel guests, or 3 days before your ticket start day if you're staying off-site.
    • Set realistic expectations. Hopefully, all of your groups will get return times with overlapping windows, but don't let the entire trip be based on this one experience, because it's not guaranteed.  If you have one group that gets a return window that is close but not quite overlapping, speak to a Cast Member at one of the blue Guest Experience umbrellas. They may be able to help. Only have the group leaders approach the Cast Members and understand that there may not be anything they can do.
Consider joining the queue for an attraction first thing in the morning and spending the time in line catching up with each other. Soarin' Across America would be a fun one to experience all together. Navigating World Showcase as a large group is probably not practical. Splitting into smaller groups will likely make the day more enjoyable for everyone. After experiencing the different pavilions of each country, you could plan to meet back up an hour or so before Luminous: The Symphony of Us (with a favorite snack, of course) and watch this stunning nighttime spectacular together. The fireworks can be seen all around World Showcase Lagoon, so there is no bad viewing spot!

I highly recommend purchasing Memory Maker. It's not often you can get dozens of extended family members together, so you'll want great photos to commemorate the occasion! There are several PhotoPass opportunities throughout EPCOT.

Daniella, this is going to be an incredible reunion! I wish you the best of luck in getting those Lightning Lanes, but I know you are going to make so many magical memories no matter what! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us again here at planDisney
