Hello, Robert!
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney before planning this extraordinary adventure at the
Disneyland Resort. It will be a pleasure to share our tips and ideas with you!
Since you're traveling with 12 other people, I think you would benefit from working with a travel agent specializing in Disney experiences. A Canadian travel agent will be able to find Canada-exclusive deals and help you navigate any international travel needs you may have.
Having said that, let me share some advice on
tickets. If you are on a tighter budget, the best choice is a One Park Per Day ticket. This type of ticket will give you access to one park per day. You will have to choose between
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park and spend an entire day there.
But if your group is very active and if you're fast walkers, then your best option is the
Park Hopper ticket. This alternative will allow you to enter one theme park in the morning and then start going back and forth between the two theme parks after 1:00 p.m. (as long as one of the parks is not at capacity).
I think this is a fantastic option for a three-day trip because the theme parks at the Disneyland Resort are very close, allowing your group to spread out after you've taken a few initial laps around Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
Beyond a theme park ticket, you will also need a
park reservation to access the theme parks when you come. If you work with a travel agent, they will help you make reservations when purchasing tickets, which will streamline the process immensely!
You can also ask your travel to link the ticket to your Disneyland accounts so that you and your travel companions can manage tickets and
Genie+ selections. You will have a blast!
Please let us know if you need more help or ideas. We will be here to help you!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
