Planning our family first trip to Disney and I am becoming overwhelmed can someone please guide me in the right direction.... where to start

    HI Tacola,

Thank you so much for stopping by the Moms Panel. Don't fret; we're here to help you!

First off, please don't feel overwhelmed. You are planning one of the most memorable and magical family vacations ever. Just keep in mind that whatever your plan, it will be extraordinary! To start, think about what your family will enjoy. Are you a foodie family and would love to visit some of the best restaurants within Walt Disney World? Or are you thrill seekers looking to conquer all of the popular attractions in each theme park? Once you decide where you would like your adventure to take you and your family, the planning will get easier.

Also, if you can, dedicate a full day to each Walt Disney World theme park. First Walt Disney World vacations flourish when you give yourself time to enjoy the pixie dust. Schedule in a down day where you and your family can enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort and relax. Our family loves to build in a down day during our last day of vacation to decompress, swim in our resort, or just sleep in and explore our resort hotel.

There are so many other tips I can pass along to you, Tacola, but there's only so much space here in the answer box. Please feel free to ask me any and all specific questions you may have about your vacation planning. I'm always here to help you.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
