Planning on going with family in February 2024 we are annual pass holders. My daughter and family need to purchase tickets. Should she wait and hope they have a 4 day 4 park magic tickets again or better off purchasing now? Do they normally run special

Hi Kathy and welcome to planDisney!

I love being in the wonderful world of the Walt Disney World Passholder family!  Having annual passes gives us the flexibility to visit as often as possible and saves us lots of money by using Passholder discounts on merchandise, select Disney dining and even on Disney Resort hotels

Your question is tough to answer because there are many unknown factors.  Typically, February is one of the least busy months to visit Walt Disney World.  It's after busy holiday vacations and it's before spring break starts.  There have been special ticket offers in the past for February visits, but I can't say for certain there will be again.  It could pay off to wait until closer to your vacation for possible ticket specials to be announced, but you also run the risk of ticket prices increasing between now and then also.  Once tickets are purchased, they are typically non-refundable and non-transferable.

The good news is that when you purchase date based tickets for vacations starting in January, 2024, you no longer need to make theme park reservations, so there is no need to stress about theme park availability for your family once they do decide to purchase their tickets.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
