Planning for 2 families. We are splitting our trip. We have 14 day passes, but staying on property first 7 and off last 7. DDP for first week. Making first 7 days of ADRs soon, can I make any for second week for the off property stay?

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question about Advance Dining Reservations for your upcoming split stay. Our family enjoys dining at those hard-to-get locations like Be Our Guest and Cinderella's Royal Table, so I understand the importance of knowing exactly when you can start making reservations!

Even though you have 14-day theme park tickets, your two 7-day stays will be considered separate trips for purposes of your Advance Dining Reservations booking window.

    • For the first part of your visit when you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to start making Advance Dining Reservations 180 days prior to check-in for all 7 days you are staying on property. (The rule is that Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests can make Advance Dining Reservations 180 days from the start of their trip plus up to 10 days of their on-property stay.)
    • For the second part of your visit when you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can begin making Advance Dining Reservations 180 days prior to the start of that second stay, but on a day-by-day basis (so, 180 days out from each of the 7 days of your second stay).

Kelly, I hope I've answered your question. Please stop back and let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming vacation!

    Happy Planning!
