I am planning our families first vacation to DW. The plan is 4 adults, 3 children ages at time of visit 13,8,7. I am having a difficult time finding accomodations for the seven of us. I would like for to book two rms. Would I have to book 2 packages?

    Hi Jeanette,

I'm so glad that you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your first Walt Disney World Vacation.  This is a great question.

Given that you have seven people, and the configuration of adults and children that you have, you would need to book two rooms and two separate packages.  You can book them both at the same time and have the reservations linked together.  You can request that the rooms be next to each other, but this will not be guaranteed.  Disney will do their absolute best to accommodate having your party near to each other, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Another option for you is to consider a two-bedroom villa at one of the Disney Vacation Club properties.  Although these are booked often by Disney Vacation Club members, there may be availability for reservations using traditional payment methods such as credit cards.  These are available at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Boardwalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, and The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  The two-bedroom villas at each of these resorts sleep eight to nine people, so your party of seven would be fine.

To make reservations for any of the Walt Disney World Resort properties, call 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).  For your reservation I do suggest calling so that you can speak with a cast member about linking the reservations.

Have a great time planning your vacation, Jeanette, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
