Hello, We are planning our families first trip to Disney world. We have had two very strong recommendations. One for Sci-fi diner and then another for the fantasmic show. Currently we would not be able to do both. Can you make a recommendation. My son is 7

    Hello Kimberly!
My son and I love the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios! We eat there on our every vacation in Walt Disney World and our first visit to dine there was when he was 7 years old like your son! Keep in mind that not all kids may enjoy the atmosphere of Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater because of the clips and trailers from old Monster Movies that are shown on the screen especially if they sensitive to this. Fantasmic! is an amazing nighttime show and not to be missed (there are some intense moments with the villains and Mickey's nightmares during this show). You know your son the best but I would recommend picking the one that you think will give him the most enjoyment. I know that you said that you can only do one of these two things but you actually may be able to do both of them if you eat at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater for lunch (the experience is the same as dinner) and then go to Fantasmic! in the evening. I hope that your first Walt Disney World vacation with your family is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
