I am planning our families first ever vacation to Disney World in January 2014. While we are there my son will be turning 7. Any suggestions on what we can do or where we should go to make it super special?

Hello Jennifer, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel!

Congratulations on your family´s first Walt Disney World vacation.

Disney is a great place to celebrate birthdays, especially a child´s birthday.  Although there are no birthday activities at the park, you will be able to customize your own celebration with in-room celebrations; cakes delivered at most Disney Restaurants and many other birthday surprises.

Start your celebration with a Birthday Recognition Button that will help make his day extra special.
Enjoy dining with your son´s favorite Disney Characters at one of Disney´s Character Restaurants.

The Pirates League is one of my kid´s favorite activities at Disney.  This is a fun makeover where Captain Jack´s Crew will help your kid learn the ways of a pirate.  Guests of all ages are welcome to join the crew.  It might be a good idea adding a Pirate Adventure Cruise.

Depending on your son´s taste a Disney Tour or Event might be a great surprise, or maybe he will be happy to visit the Lego Store at Downtown Disney and buy a new building set.

Check all the available services and activities available to celebrate your son´s birthday and choose the ones that he will love the most.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
