I am planning my families first to DW and i have a ? about the dining plan. When making reservations that take the dining plan do i still have to pay in full with a credit card to hold my reservation?

Hello Jessica!  I am so excited to hear about your upcoming trip!  I am also very excited to hear that your are considering the Disney Dining Plan.  Many of the restaurants at WDW do not require you to leave a credit card number.  There are only a very few select restaurants that will need to take your credit card number.  One example would be Cinderella's Royal Table.   However, you will not see any charges at all unless you do not show up for your reserved seating and a cancellation policy may be enforced.  If you decide to cancel your reservation, just give Disney Dining a call well in advance and they will cancel for you.  Upon setting your reservation, a cast member will explain the cancellation policy to you.  Have a wonderful and magical trip!  I know new and wonderful memories are waiting for you and your family.
