We are planning a fall visit to WDW and would like to stay at POR. Can you verify that the rooms have 2 queen beds? Also I've read that the rooms in the bayou section have 2 pedestal sinks, but I've seen pictures of vanity with 2 sinks- which is it?

    Hi Dawn!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

The rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside were refurbished several years ago, and the double beds were replaced with queen beds. The pedestal sinks were also replaced with a vanity with two sinks. The new bathrooms have more counter space as well space below for toiletry bags and your hair dryer. Some of the rooms are also able to accommodate five Guests with the bunk-size pull down beds that were added during the refurbishment. The Royal Guest rooms are my favorite and if you have a little princess, I'm sure she would love these rooms too!

Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of my favorite moderate resorts and you absolutely can't go wrong with staying here. I hope this helps with your decision and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let us know.

    Happy planning!
