Planning a Fall 18 trip on a budget. Have 3 adults, a 4yo princess and need 3 beds. Looking for recommendations on AoA, Movies, a deluxe that sleeps 5 or a 1bed villa. Worried about logistics and walking at the value and budget on the deluxe. Please help!

    Hi Lori,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are doing what I love to do - plan a Walt Disney World vacation on a budget! Finding special offers really makes me happy.

Having just stayed at Disney's Art of Animation resort, I can say that a family suite there might be a perfect fit for your budget. The suites have a queen-sized bed in the bedroom, a double-sized sofa bed in the living room area and the kitchen table converts to a double-sized bed. Plus, there are two bathrooms. The bus service was good when I was there but the resort is expansive. I will say that the main pool is AMAZING, definitely fit for a princess.

If, however, you can spend a little more, try staying in a Garden Wing room at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The rooms are typically more affordable than the rooms in the main tower. They have two queen-sized beds and one daybed. Disney's Contemporary resort is one of the resorts with access to the Resort Monorail. And you can walk to Magic Kingdom from this resort. We prefer to pay a little more to have such great access to Magic Kingdom. Several of the deluxe resort hotels have one-bedroom villas, but if you are looking for three beds, they may not be the best option. The rates can vary depending on the special offers available for the dates of your visit.

Lori, another option might be Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. They have rooms with a queen-sized bed and bunk beds. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort with spectacular views of the animals. I love the dining options but it is a bit of a ride to most of the theme parks!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
