Hi, there!
Madison, I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this October. You and your family are sure to
Fall into magic!
I love experiencing the magic of the theme parks with my kids. That said, I also love spending some adults-only time with my husband during our Disney vacations. Arranging for an
in-room babysitter to spend some time with your kiddo is a great way to sneak in a date night mid-stay! I recommend booking a sitter through Kid's Nite Out. This Orlando-based childcare service offers one-to-one babysitting right in your Disney Resort hotel room. We booked a babysitter through Kid's Nite Out last summer, and we were very pleased. Our sitter arrived promptly and came prepared with age-appropriate games and activities for each of our three children. Kid's Nite Out sitters are not permitted to do any water-related activities with children, like swimming, but they may leave the room with the children if given consent from the parents. We asked our babysitter to take our kids on a walk to the Quick-Service dining location at our Disney Resort hotel. They grabbed some cupcakes for dessert, and then caught a viewing of the Electrical Water Pageant on their walk back to the room! My husband and I knew our kids were safe and happy while we enjoyed an evening at Disney Springs. Booking a babysitter from Kid's Nite Out is super easy! You can call 800-696-8105 or make your reservation online at kidsniteout.com.
Another great option for a night out is
Captain Hook's Pirate Crew. This kids-only experience is a swashbuckling good time! Captain Hook's Pirate Crew is offered nightly from 5:00 - 8:30 PM. While this isn't late enough in the evening to attend a
Disney After Hours event, it's certainly well-timed for a nice dinner sans kiddo!
I hope this was helpful, Madison. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
