Welcome back to
planDisney, David!
Walt Disney World Resort is such a great place to enjoy during the winter holiday season, and this year, you'll still be able to experience all that the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer!
It sounds like you're getting a head start on planning, and focusing your attention on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App is the right move.
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering is available at
more dining locations than ever before, and this service makes grabbing a snack or an entire meal a breeze, no matter if it's just you, or a large group! Some of my favorites are
Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park (the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods are amazing!) and
Ronto Roasters at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Does everyone in your crew already have their own My Disney Experience Account? If not, be sure to get everyone set up with one before your trip. From there, each member of your crew can add up to 6 credit cards each to use as payment methods for Mobile Orders within the app. To do this, click on the three stacked horizontal lines (some call this a "sandwich" icon) in the lower right corner of the app, scroll down and click on My Profile, and then Payment Method. From there you'll see any saved payment methods and be able to add new ones! You can also use a
Disney gift card, or if you have it set up, Apple Pay is also an available payment method within the app.
Now, anyone in your crew can place a Mobile Order and pay with whatever payment methods have been set up in their account. Unlike purchases made with a Magic Band that is linked to a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest room account, these charges will be individual and immediate. If you do want to pay for others' Mobile Orders, you can either place the order for them while logged in to your own account in the app, add your credit card to the other person's account as a payment method, or you can purchase a Disney gift card for the other person to use as a form of payment.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion and sets you up for a great trip.
Please let me know if any other questions pop up as you continue planning for the magic!
