We are planning an extended family trip to WDW in late April. (6 adults, 4 kids, ages 3-10). We are thinking of staying at Beach Club and maybe the villas. What do you think of the villas? Also, is there a place to get specialty coffee in BC (mocha)?

    Hi Jill!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The Beach Club and the Beach Club Villas are wonderful.  It is my second favorite resort after the Wilderness Lodge.  The location definitely can not be beat if you want easy access to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It is about a 5 minute walk from the Beach Club Villas to the International Gateway of Epcot, located between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions.  The Beach Club also has the best pool at any resort in Walt Disney World:  Stormalong Bay.  It is like a mini-water park.  My two boys, ages 13 and 8, can easily spend half a day there and usually have to be dragged away.

You can pick up a coffee mocha at the Quick Service location right off the lobby of the Beach Club.  It is a very short walk from the Beach Club Villas. If you stay at the Beach Club, you should also try a coffee mocha cupcake at the bakery on the Boardwalk, which is a short 5 minute walk away from the Beach Club.  They are a wonderful breakfast treat!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
