We're planning to be at EP at rope drop in August. We'll be exhausted by 2. We're staying at WL but have 6 pm ADR at Flying Fishes. What is there to do at Boardwalk late afternoon v. returning to WL to swim/relax for tweens? Mini golf too hot. Thx.

Hey, Christine! I like how you roll. Rope drop is definitely where the party is at.

I think you could slow down your day from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. by stepping into World Showcase. The pavilions offer a relaxed pace for experiencing each country. Many have attractions that offer seating and/or air conditioning too - more so than the BoardWalk area unless you're thinking about hitting a food or drink establishment or hanging out in the resort lobbies.

Consider going clockwise around World Showcase toward the International Gateway (where you'll catch a boat to the BoardWalk for Flying Fish.) Around World Showcase, there's the Gran Fiesta Tour, Reflections of China, the American Adventure and Impressions de France along the way. If you really need to catch a cat nap, there's no place better than the film in Norway after Maelstrom.
