If we are planning on ending the day in DT Disney would it be worth the trouble to park there in the morning and then take the bus over to AK for the day? Obviously it would save us the parking fee but is that too much of a waste of time?

Hi, Eric!  Going to Downtown Disney is a great way to end a day at the parks.   We like to stop there for an evening snack or late dinner.

You will be better off parking at Animal Kingdom in the morning.  The main reason for this is there is not a bus that goes directly to Animal Kingdom from Downtown Disney.   You would either need to walk or take the bus to Saratoga Springs Resort and catch an Animal Kingdom bus from there.    In my opinion, I would rather pay the parking toll and not waste valuable "magic time" driving on a bus!

Whatever you decide, I hope you have a wonderful vacation in WDW!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
