    Hello! We are planning on eating at Art Smith's Homecoming before taking a Holiday Sleigh Ride at Ft. Wilderness. What is the recommended travel plan for getting to Ft Wilderness from Disney Springs? And how much time should I allow for travel? Thanks!

    I'm thrilled to know you're planning on dining at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' during your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort as this fabulous restaurant was top of my dining favourites during my last Disney trip! You will not be disappointed by ordering Art's Famous Fried Chicken, it's unbelievably good. 
    Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a delightful spot to visit at Christmas and I'm sure you'll love seeing all the beautiful yuletide decor during your Carriage Rides - Holiday Sleigh Ride.  
    Having stayed several times in the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort I'm happy to share that I would allow at least 1 hour to travel between destinations using Disney Resort Transportation. My preferred route would be to board a motor coach at Disney Springs to Magic Kingdom Park and then change to Walt Disney World Water Transportation from the Magic Kingdom Marina to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort; you will then arrive directly at the marina near the Settlement Depot where your Holiday Sleigh Ride awaits.
