We’re planning to eat/drink around the world Epcot. We’d planned (pre-Covid) to stop in to the bar area of some tableservice restaurants to grab drinks (for example-Rose and Crown dining room). Do we need reservations to do so now?

    Howdy Morgan!

Welcome to planDisney!  I love chatting about food and drinks around EPCOT’s World Showcase!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!

We recently returned from a fantastic trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!  We love exploring through World Showcase at EPCOT and enjoying food and drinks from all of the countries!  My husband’s must-do is the Rose & Crown Pub, located in the United Kingdom.  He enjoys a draft pour of the Boddington English Pub Ale.  On our last visit in September, he entered the bar area and got his favorite beer.  To guarantee a table, I recommend making a reservation.  Also, with a reservation, you can enjoy one of their amazing entrees with your favorite beverage.  If you are looking to try drinks and light food, you can easily explore each country at EPCOT and enjoy an adult beverage from the bar and then venture on to your next destination.  Since you cannot eat and drink as you walk at this time, I recommend finding a bench close by to enjoy your food or beverage before heading off to the next country.  We really enjoyed taking extra time to savor all the delicious food and drinks throughout the World Showcase.  I know you will enjoy this time to relax throughout your day at EPCOT!

There are so many things reopening at the Walt Disney World and many things scheduled to reopen in the weeks to come!  To stay informed of everything, check the Disney Parks Blog.  The Disney Parks Blog will keep you up-to-date on everything to do and see on the horizon!

Make sure to check the restaurants that have reopened and the ones scheduled to reopen during your visit.  I have placed a link in the highlighted area above for easy access to this site.  Also, make sure you are familiar with the Mobile Food Ordering on your My Disney Experience.  To maintain the safety measures that the Walt Disney World Resort has put into place, they are encouraging all guests to utilize the Mobile Food Order option.  I love Mobile Food Ordering, and I know you will too!  While you are scanning through the restaurants, check out the menus.  By checking out the menus, you will be familiar with the offerings at each location and have a good idea of what quick-services and table-services work best for your party!

If you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to planDisney!  We look forward to helping you again, Morgan!

    See Ya Real Soon,
