    We are planning to eat at the Blue Bayou. Our trip is in August. 60 days out we should be able to schedule dinner there, but the option never became available to us. Is the Blue Bayou not taking reservations or how can we go about getting one for Aug 18?

    Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question, we are excited you stopped by!  Your visit to Disneyland Resort is in less than a month now, how fantastic!  I am sure you are going to have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth! 

    You are correct, guests are able to make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 60 days in advance, and since the phased re-opening of Disneyland Resort have been extremely popular.  I am so sorry to hear you have not yet been able to secure a reservation at Blue Bayou Restaurant, but with a little "Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust" you will be able to grab a reservation for your upcoming visit.  I have been lucky to make reservations through persistence and checking at the right times.  I find checking early in the morning, or later in the evening the best times to find a reservation, but it all depends on if other guests cancel their reservations or if more reservations are released.  Keep checking, hopefully you will have good luck!  

    If by chance you have not been able to find a reservation for Blue Bayou Restaurant before your visit, when you arrive, head to the restaurant and ask if there are any Same-Day Walk-Up reservations available.  Most restaurants do have a limited number of same day reservations, depending on availability.
