We are planning to drive to Ohana Restaurant on Polynesian Resort for character breakfast. Can we leave our vehicle there and take ferry to Magic Kingdom for the day? We are not registered guests on site.

    Hiya Ron,

Welcome to planDisney! You are in for a real treat; the dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels are the best. Any place that serves Mickey-shaped Waffles for breakfast is also high on my list!

In order to make sure that registered Guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have space to park, Guests with dining reservations can only park their vehicle for the duration of their dining experience. So once you finish your breakfast, you would need to move your vehicle to the Transportation and Ticket Center before proceeding to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park for the day. When I’ve been in this situation before, I park my vehicle at the Transportation and Ticket Center before my dining reservation and then take the monorail or walk (about a 5-10 minute walk) over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This gives me a better parking spot when I’m done at Magic Kingdom Park for the day. Then once I’m done eating, I will take the monorail or the water launch from the resort to the Magic Kingdom gates! Do yourself a favor, and before heading to breakfast, make a note of where you parked using the Car Locator function in the My Disney Experience mobile app. With ‘Ohana breakfast and a full day at the park where you parked is going to be the last thing on your mind until you get to the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Please come back and see us if you need anything else, Ron!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.

When we are not piloting the Millennium Falcon, exploring Kilimanjaro Safaris, or watching fireworks, you can find me planning our next adventure to Walt Disney World! I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
