Planning to do downtown Disney in evening then head to MK for wishes. I know buses don't run directly there so wondering what's the best Disney bus to take. Thinking maybe to a monorail hotel so kids can experience that but not sure which one. Help? Thanks

Hello Danielle!  Welcome back to the Mom´s Panel.

Downtown Disney is a great place to visit during the evenings, when the weather is nicer and outdoor shows really take the spot.  Excellent restaurants as Portobello Country Italian Trattoria make my family´s visit to the Lego Store at Downtown Disney a more pleasurable one.

To get from Downtown Disney to the Magic Kingdom you can ride a Disney bus to any of the three Disney Resorts on the Monorail System.  Then can catch the Monorail on your way to the Magic Kingdom.
My personal favorite is to ride a bus to the Contemporary Resort and then walk to the Magic Kingdom.
The Monorail loop for the resorts follows this direction: Contemporary Resort - Transportation & Ticket Center - Polynesian Resort - Grand Floridian Resort and Spa - Magic Kingdom.
Depending on your timing you can choose which bus suits your needs at the moment.

Remember that Wishes Nighttime Spectacular can be seen from all three resorts on the Monorail System.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
