We are planning to take a double buggy with us for my 2 1/2 year old toddler girl and 6 month old son. Do the parks have double buggies suitable to hire and/or do the land trains have space to store pushchairs when travelling to and from the car parks.

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your stroller question!  First you should know that if you are considering renting a stroller you have two options.  The first option is to rent a stroller each day for use inside of the theme park.  These strollers are first-come, first-serve basis and may not be taken out of the park in which you have rented them.  These types of strollers are usually made of hard plastic and typically have fewer amenities such as being able to recline.  The next option is to rent a stroller from a Disney featured provider.  The featured providers will deliver your stroller to your Disney Resort hotel (and many local non-Disney hotels) and pick it back up at the end of your vacation.  There are many different models to choose from and they are considerably less expensive than renting strollers in the theme parks.  Therefore most of the time I choose to rent a stroller from a Disney featured provider whenever visiting Walt Disney World with young children.  To view the Disney featured providers follow this link for Walt Disney World Stroller Rentals and scroll to the bottom of the page.

You will be able to bring your stroller on the Walt Disney World parking lot trams provided you have folded them up.  There is not a separate location to place the strollers on the trams, they are brought on board with you and set on the floor by your feet.  My recommendation is for one parent to board with the children and the other parent to fold the stroller and board with it.

Have a magical vacation and please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions!

    Blessings,
