Planning on doing the Wild Africa Trek with my daughter for her birthday in September. Is one time of the day better than another?

    Beth,

I would opt for the morning! Just as you'll find the animals more active on a safari during the earlier hours, those on the Wild Africa Trek will show a little more "life" before that mid-day sun starts heating things up! You'll get some great photos, especially when a Keeper is nearby feeding the animals their morning sustenance.

This adventure is a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. I absolutely loved the entire experience!

If your daughter is a picky eater, be sure to request a kids meal, even if she's older. Or inquire as to your choices. I'm finicky myself so I always like to caution families to make sure there's something each family member will enjoy!

I wish your daughter a very happy birthday and hope that you enjoy a fun and adventurous Trek through Africa! Watch out for those hippos!
