Hi Anthony and welcome to planDisney! I'm excited to see your plans for attending an
After Hours special event at
Magic Kingdom Park - this is one of my absolute favorite special events offered at the Walt Disney World Resort! Shorter wait times, complimentary ice cream and popcorn, and some magical photo opportunities with light crowds make this event extra magical!
Anthony, because your After Hours ticket includes entry to the park starting at 7 PM and the current show time for Happily Ever After fireworks is at 8 PM, you should have no problem attending a fireworks dessert party during your park visit. I would suggest booking the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Post-Party in this situation to give you some flexibility with your arrival time. For this particular dessert event, you will be able to check in for the party starting at 7 PM and then be escorted to a fireworks viewing area closer to 8 PM to view the nighttime spectacular. After the show, you will be escorted back to
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant for the dessert party.
If you would rather book the
Seats and Sweets package, I would suggest getting to the park a little early for your 7 PM entry, as the lines for early entry into special ticketed events such as After Hours do tend to get a little lengthy ahead of entry time. I recently attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, which granted entry starting at 4 PM. By the time we got through the line to enter, it was closer to 4:20 PM. Since your fireworks reservation would start exactly at 7 PM, it would be best to try to get near the start of the line by arriving early.
Keep in mind that fireworks experiences may be cancelled or changed without prior notice, so I would recommend keeping an eye on the
After Hours event page and the
entertainment schedule for any posted changes or adjustments to the schedule. Should your plans change, you may cancel your fireworks experience booking up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty.
Anthony, one more tip from a fireworks fan - during the After Hours event, there will be a second fireworks show at 11 PM - this is a rare chance to see both
Happily Ever After and
Disney's Enchantment on the same night! Talk about an extra spark of magic!
You are the magic,
Alison
