Howdy, Emily and welcome back to planDisney!
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort! I have been camping at "The Fort" since I was little and love taking my family to make new memories. It's so awesome to be nestled in the tranquility of the wilderness, but also know you are so close to the magic of the theme parks. Whether you are staying there as a Guest or visiting for the day for one of the many fun activities they offer, you know you're in for a great time!
I have taken my kids
Horseback Riding at Fort Wilderness a few times. It's my daughter's #1 request when we stay there. It makes for such a nice day on the trails and is actually quite relaxing! I love that Walt Disney World offers the
Enchanting Extras Collection because it is so fun doing things that are beyond the theme parks. I have done a little research for your question and it does appear that self-mounted cameras are allowed during your horseback riding session, so you are more than welcome to bring a camera to attach to yourself. Being hands-free during your ride is for the safety of yourself, the horses and other Guests on the trail.
I do hope you have a wonderful time during your next Walt Disney World vacation! Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
