Hello! We're planning on doing a firework dessert party, leaning toward the post party. However someone in our group has a gluten and dairy allergy. Are there any desserts available for her to have? If not can we bring in our own treats she can have?

Hi there, Emily. Welcome to planDisney!

Well, let me throw pixie-dusted confetti all over this question because you are speaking my love language by talking about one of the dessert parties at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Out of all the Enchanting Extras, these parties are my favorites. I've attended all three dessert parties, but I have to admit, I'm a bit partial to the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Post-Party. I love having the perfect location to watch Tinker Bell fly from Cinderella Castle through the sparkling fireworks of Happily Ever After. Then, after wiping a few happy tears from my eyes, I enjoy leisurely snacking on all the delicious, sweet treats. You're going to have such a great time!

I'm happy to let you know that Walt Disney World does an amazing job navigating food allergies. I recently traveled with my best friend to the parks, and she has several allergies. We loved how Disney truly goes above and beyond. Whether it's gluten sensitivity, dairy, fish, eggs, tree nuts, corn, or others, Disney restaurants are extremely accommodating with allergy-friendly requests.

Emily, when you make your dessert party reservation online, at checkout, you'll see "Special Requests." This is where you can enter their specific allergies, and you will see the following message: "Please inform the server, Chef, or Manager on duty of any special dietary requests when arriving at the restaurant. All Guests have the opportunity to consult with a chef or Special Diets Trained Cast Member if desired." So rest assured that your friend will have food to enjoy. And, of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own food into the party as well.

I hope this information is helpful and that you and your Disney crew have the most magical time. Please don't hesitate to reach back out to us anytime. We are fellow Guests who visit the parks often, and we'll always be here with our best advice from our own personal experiences. I KNOW you will love the dessert party, so have a truly magical time!

    Happily ever after,
    Shonette
