    we are planning on doing fantasmic 12/11/11 at 6:30pm and then taking boat to Captain's grill at Yacht club. What time should I make ADR to allow enough travel time after the show? BTW We have a 2 yr old. Thanks

    Hi Debra!

         My son and I love the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios!  Fantasmic show is 25 minutes long and I would allow up to 15 minutes to get to the front of Hollywood Studios to the Friendship Boat Dock.  The Friendship boat trip to the Yacht Club Resort takes around 15 minutes travel time. Also keep in mind that you may have to wait up to 20 minutes for a boat to arrive at the Hollywood Studios dock as well.  So if you add all this together you are looking at around one hour to an hour and a half so I would recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservation for the Captain's Grill between 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  You could also take a bus from Hollywood Studios to the Yacht Club Resort which may save you some time over taking the Friendship Boat.  If you are in a rush, then you can take a taxi which will cost money, but will get you there quickly.
