    We are planning on doing the Disney Cruise to Alaska sailing on September 4th 2017 and I was wondering if there are recommendations for any of the port excursions for a family with 4 year old.

    Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited for you and your family's upcoming Alaskan cruise aboard the Disney Cruise Line! It is one of my family's favorite itineraries the Disney Cruise Line has to offer. You will be blown away by the absolute beauty of Alaska!

    We've taken a variety of the different Alaskan Port Adventures offered by Disney and have enjoyed them all! Does your family like dogs? One of the fun excursions offered in Juneau is the Dog Sled Summer Camp. During this excursion, your family will cuddle with Alaskan Husky puppies and help in their social training while learning more about what mushers do to keep the dogs safe and healthy while on the trail. Then, you'll board a wheeled dog sled and feel what it's like to be pulled by a team of Alaskan Huskies! There are more excursions that would welcome your 4-year old explorer so I definitely recommend checking out the Port Adventures offered at each port of call. Under each Port Adventure you'll see the age ranges listed for that particular adventure.

    As soon as you disembark the ship at each port of call in Alaska, you'll be moments away from the heart of that city's downtown area. If you choose to forego an excursion in a specific port, your family will still have a blast exploring the culture and beauty of the town while walking around!

    Also, make sure to pack a pair of binoculars! There will be tons of sightseeing opportunities on the decks of the ship throughout your voyage! Please visit us again with any future questions.
