Hello. Planning on doing CRT for daughters 7th bday. Which is better lunch or dinner? Can u see the fireworks if we choose dinner? Also i heard you can get special cakes delivered for the occasion, can you tell me how to accomplish that?

    Hello Shonda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Your daughter will be absolutely thrilled to celebrate her birthday at Cinderella’s Royal Table, where we also took our little princess for her 5th birthday. It was truly and unforgettable day for our family, and I am sure you are also going to make magical memories. My daughter talks about it all the time and how she cannot wait to go back!

The menu is currently the same for both lunch and dinner so you can make a reservation for the time that you feel is more appropriate for your family. In my opinion, you do not get a very good view of the fireworks when you are inside the restaurant, as they happen right above Cinderella Castle. Also, you will be visiting when Happily Ever After, the new nighttime spectacular, will be taking place, and you do not want to miss it! The show will feature amazing projections on Cinderella Castle and you will not enjoy it thoroughly from inside the restaurant.

Customs cakes are currently not available at Magic Kingdom restaurants, but let me tell you that my daughter was given a cupcake with a candle on top and we all sang happy birthday and it was perfect. The cupcake was plenty enough for her little tummy and we did not have leftover cake to worry about after our meal.

I hope you make wonderful memories on your daughter’s birthday! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions.

    Best magical wishes,
