I am planning on doing a birthday dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse one evening during our trip, but we are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. What is the best way to get to the Yacht Club Resort from the Caribbean Beach Resort in the evening?

Hello, Ellen. I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney with your question. It sounds like whoever the birthday celebration is for is in for a real treat. Yachtsman Steakhouse is absolutely delicious!

To get from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney's Yacht Club you can actually take the Disney Skyliner. I love riding the Disney Skyliner because it is so fun to have a birds-eye view of the Disney resort. I think it'll be a fun way to kick off the birthday evening. The main hub for the Disney Skyliner is actually at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You'll head over to the hub and board the Disney Skyliner line that is going to Epcot. Once you are there, it is just a short walk over to Disney's Yacht Club. If taking the Disney Skyliner and a short walk isn't an option that you like, you can always use a ride-share service to get you to your dinner reservation. I actually oftentimes do this for reservations at a Disney Resort Hotel because it's a direct way of getting there. Ride-share services will be able to pick you up at the front of the lobby at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and take you directly to Disney's Yacht Club and drop you off right at the main entrance of the resort. The ride won't be very long as the resorts are fairly close which means the fare won't run you much either. If you are all dressed up, I think this is the way to go.

There are so many amazing menu offerings at Yachtsman Steakhouse, Ellen, but let's be honest - the rolls are superb! I love them and probably eat too many while I'm there. Then, we can't forget about how amazing the steak selection is either. I've had a lot of different menu items there and I've never had a bad meal. You guys are going to have a fabulous time. Be sure to tell the hostess and also your server that you are celebrating a birthday, you may just get a magical surprise!

I hope this helps you plan out how to get to your dinner reservation, Ellen. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and enjoy!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
