    We are planning on doing the BB boutique dress up experience for our daughters. I have been told that it is better to buy your own dresses and save on the expense. I have also heard that they do a photo shoot after your child is finished. Any info on this?

    Hi, Lara!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    It really depends on who you ask as to what the better experience is.  My daughter has experienced the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique several times and I always bring our own dress from home and select the Crown Package for her to enjoy.  When you bring your own dress from home, you still get to change in the same fitting room - there really isn't a different except in price.  No matter what package you choose, you can add on the Image Package for an addition $32.95.  If you don't opt for the Image Package, know that picture taken during the makeover do get added to your MagicBand for you to view and purchase later.  If you have MemoryMaker, the pictures of the actual makeover are included as well. I normally just get the pictures scanned to my band and then pick and choose the ones I want to order and then take some pictures of her myself in front of the castle and with her favorite princesses.  Whatever you choose, know that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is just pure fun and be prepared to leave sparkly!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
