Mickey’s imagination will create some magic during Fantasmic all the way through the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, but only on the weekends. It looks like this will work perfectly with your schedule! You’ve also made a great choice to reserve a
Fantasmic! Dining Package to ensure a great seat. My planDisney pal,
Scott, and I got a dining package a couple of weeks ago. Not only did we feast on gumbo, a
Deep Fried Monte Cristo sandwich, and the most delicious desserts at
Cafe Orleans, but we also got preferred seating, front and center, to see our favorite show - Fantasmic!
With the show only playing Friday through Sunday in the winter, the dining packages are a bit harder to get. Reservations open at 6:00 am Pacific Time 60 days before your visit. If you’re hoping to get a reservation on December 5th, that would be October 6th. You’ll need to know which Fantasmic showing you’ll want to see and which restaurant you’d prefer. Usually,
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante,
River Belle Terrace, and Cafe Orleans all offer packages. While they are all fine places to dine, Cafe Orleans serves my favorite meal throughout the
Disneyland Resort, so that’s my recommendation. We saw the 9:05 pm show and still had enough time to get over to
Main Street, U.S.A. for the fireworks, then were set up to see the final parade of the night. It was a magical evening! So set your alarm and be ready right when the clock strikes 6:00 am PT on October 6th!
Anissa, you’re going to have a great time! I really hope that you’re able to score that reservation, but you’ll still love the magic of Fantasmic even without preferred seating.
