Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carletta!
March is an excellent time to visit Walt Disney World, especially when you are traveling from our wintry Pennsylvania wonderland!
Planning out your dining reservations as soon as you can is a great idea. Reservations open 180 days in advance, so it's best to book those must-do spots right away.
At
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, there are a lot of new options as that park has introduced nighttime experiences never seen before; each one is truly spectacular! For information on Animal Kingdom evening activities, check out
Disney's Animal Kingdom park at Night. There, you'll see that
Rivers of Light is currently listed as "Coming Soon!", so be sure to keep checking the website for the latest status of this utterly spectacular event.
When I planned an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, I intentionally scheduled an entire day and night in and around Animal Kingdom, just in case anything new became available the evening we'll be there. I grabbed a great Sanaa lunch in case I would be unable to get a
Tiffins dinner reservation (I kept both! Yum!) and plan to visit
Nomad Lounge prior to our late-night dinner. If you book a meal in Animal Kingdom or the adjacent Animal Kingdom Lodge, do so early enough in the day so that if nighttime entertainment is announced after you've booked your dining plans, you can enjoy both.
Send more questions as you plan, Carletta; we love to help!
